- 2 cups of Semolina
- 12 cups of Oat milk
- 1 cup Cocoa powder
- 2 cups brown sugar/ coconut sugar/ one cup of each.
- 5 tablespoons Coconut oil
- 1 cup of Hemp Hearts
- 1 tablespoon Coffee powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2-3 teaspoons of Vanilla essence.
- 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons Walnut flour
- 2 tablespoons Almond flour
These are no-bake, protein-rich, vegan energy-rich chocolate balls. In short, chocolate hemp balls.
First and foremost, roast semolina till it's golden brown like you would do for your sooji ka halwa in coconut oil. Add the oat milk, sugar of choice, or both and a pinch of salt as mentioned, and cook for 6-7 minutes. In the last one minute, add cocoa powder and coffee powder.
Once done, allow it to come at room temperature. Now, transfer it to a bowl and add the remaining ingredients like hemp hearts (save a little for coating at last), vanilla essence, chia seeds, walnuts, and almond flour.
Give this all a fair mix.
Next, take the choice of coating ingredients like brown sugar/ cocoa/ hemp hearts.
In your hands, take some oil and start making the balls of bite-size portions with the mixture and plate them subsequently.
